Does anyone know how I can delete, or clear my pagefile in XP Pro? I'm pretty sure that my pagefile got corrupted while system crashes and now I'm getting memory errors. I've tried setting the pagefile to 0 and rebooting, then setting it back to normal. Is there anyway to just plain delete the pagefile.sys and start from scratch, other then reformatting?

Start Regedit. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\ Memory Management Select ClearPageFileAtShutdown from the list on the right. Right on it and select Modify. Change the value to 1 to enable. Reboot your computer.
