I had a dual boot on my laptop (XP and mandrake 8.2). The bootloader is lilo.

I wonder how can I erase the lilo and back to window booting? I knew command like 'fdisk /mbr' but XP has no fdisk. I ever downloaded fdisk from website but it seemed not compatible with dos in win XP. Is there any new command I can use? appreciate any suggestions.

edit boot.ini file, run >>msconfig>>boot.ini tab>>remove the line containing lilo save the changes and reboot.

You may want to boot to the Windows XP cd and run the Recovery Console. It has FIXBOOT and FIXMBR. I'm not sure if this is what you want or not. You can type Help at the command prompt, and see a list of commands. These are simular to MS-DOS.
