I have a Cd-ROM for work that needs to be copied (not copywrited). When I right click my D drive and click write these files to CD, I get a box that pops up that says "Cannot complete CD writing wizzard and a bunch of crap after that. What is the best way to make this copy. Thanks!

What cd burning software do you have Nero, Roxio, etc for your cdrom? You need to use it to copy your cd.

He is using the XP CD Writing Wizard. Check the burner actually works, and the disc, and then try Installing Ahead nero Burning Rom, u can download a free trial.

Just a couple of thoughts:
Can you open the files on the CD? Is the drive actually recognizing the CD?
I ask this because-You can right click and empty CDRW drive and it will list write these files as an option, even when there is no CD in the drive.
(You could also copy the files to the HD first and then copy them to a CD.)

it would be much easier if you download something like nero burning rom! then you can open up nero and simply follow the burning wizard to help you.

pop in the cd and double click the corresponding drive for it, d:, e:, etc. all you have to do now is drag and drop the files you want to burn. drag and drop into the nero burning rom window.
