Comment: I have a Dell Latitude laptop. Will someone tell me how do I connect my phone line to my laptop to connect, via dial-up, to the internet. My phone line jack did not fit any of the ports on the laptop. Thanks in advance for your support. Curious George

Reply: if the phone line jack did not fit any ports on the laptop then you dont have a modem. you will need to buy a laptop style modem PCMCIA card and install it.

Reply: Give the complete make and model number of your Dell Latitude, and I or someone will look around Dell's website. Maybe yours does not have an internal modem. If that is the case, then you may have to get an external modem.

Reply: Doubt it would not have a internal modem. Are you plugging the right end in? Its the small bit (rj-11). Don't want to insult your intelligence. What model of latitude is it?
