Do you have a long list of past items in your taskbar and want to get rid of them?
Here is how you do it.
**CAUTION**
PLAYING IN THE REGISTRY CAN REALLY MESS UP YOUR COMPUTER be careful and follow instructions exactly. Backing up the registry first is a good idea. OK here goes!1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type regedit
4. Open Regedit Navigate to:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify
5. Delete the IconStreams and PastIconsStream values
6. Open Task Manager, click the Processes tab, click Explorer.exe , and then click End Process .
7. In Task Manager, click File , click New Task , type explorer , and then click OK .
8. That's it your done.
