Well i still have the same old freezing problem with no solution..
Well anyhow i pretty much give up on the whole freezing problem but i do want to know how to check irq conflicts in windows xp. Also i believe my sound card is at fault for the freezing. Its been disabled for ahilwe now and hasnt froze yet..

Hi Roman,
I read ur prob. It could be due to the AMD CPU but try this before suspecting the CPU.
Remove the Cooling Fan and the Heat Sink and see if sufficient Thermal Paste is properly applied on the contacting surface between the CPU and the HeatSink. If a Thermal Sheet is present in between the CPU and the HeatSink then the thermal paste is not needed.
So, just see if this helps coz one of my friend had similar problem and the reason was the above.
