How to changes fonts on Windows Desktop short

Specs: Windows XP
I recently used Advanced System care to clean up my XP sp3 system but after I re-booted the font of the labels under my desktop shortcuts are now white with a drop shadow. For some reason when I access the Properties and choose Appearance, Advanced then choose Icon, I am able to select a type, size, bold or italic but am unable to choose color. My overall appearance settings are set to Windows Classic style and the color scheme is set to Windows Standard with the font size set to normal. Can anyone tell me hoe to change the font color back to black and get rid of the drop shadow?

Those type of programs are usually more trouble than they are worth and often cause issues. Uninstall it then, if necessary, do system restore to a date/time before it was installed.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Advanced System Care has lots of bugs and has a resident module that runs in the background all the time Windows is running . It has caused problems on lots of other people's computers that I have worked on !
Un-install it !
