How to change OS to Chinese Version

Specs: XP, 256mb

I just purchased a Toshiba A60 notebook. I haven't touched it yet. Before I start using it, I want to change the OS from XP (English version) to ME Chinese version. How can I do it? Will I lost the drivers for any components? Or do I have to change it to XP Chinese instead? Thank you.

Hi,

Unless you use a Toshiba version, you'll be stuck looking for drivers.

you have to get the chinese version of windows xp.

i mean the cd, and reinstall.

drivers are the same, you just have to reinstal whatever windows dont pick up.

Do I have to format the hard drive first before intalling the Chinese version XP? What's the proper step-by-step procedure? Thank you.

Yes, you need to format first.

I would format FAT32.

Keep in mind that you can fix winders with DOS.

But not vice-versa.
