Hi,
I have an application on my desktop (.exe) and i want to change the icon to look like the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer .icoive tried resource hacker but it dont work:(
is there any other way (that is easy)

Resource Hacker is the exact tool you would need for this. What happens when you do try and change the icon this way?
You can email me the .exe and I'll change it for you, if you like.

so i send u everythin that needs changing :P
this is how i do it
i run resource hacker.
click file. open. then i find the file i want to change which is i_bpk2003. click open. then on the left side where the tree is i double click icon.
number 1. 1049. right click that then click replace resource.open file with new icon.
i choose my icon the click save.
but the icon is still the same :'(

Just a thought...instead of having the executable on the desktop, why not just create a shortcut to it? Then, all you need do is go into the Properties of the shortcut and select the "Change Icon" button and select the icon you want..

that wont work coz i wanna send it to a friend but i want the icon to look different :P and i cant send the shortcut coz that wont work.

OK that's extremely sneaky, Evilmaiden. "i_bpk2003" is blatantly Perfect Keylogger by BlazingTools.com! So, you want to infect your friend's PC with a keylogger and then have what they type sent back to you!
Unless you tell them that it's a keylogging app, it is technically illegal. But then again, that would sorta ruin the "surprise" for them I guess.
Nevertheless, send me the file and I'll be willing to help out! (Yes, after all that moaning... :P)

I think the post should be pulled and anyone that offered to help them steal their friends passwords and credit card info should be banned also. What is this world coming to? Do we have nothing better to do that attack our "FREINDS". I thought friend ment that we liked the person? I surely would never do that to someone I liked. Think about this guys, do you really want to help this jerk with his "identity theft scheme"?
