Solved How to change folder attribute?

Specs: Windows XP, Celeron 2.93Ghz/448 Mb

I have folders with hidden attribute ticked & unchangeable. What can I do to change attribute & be able to see it? Show hidden folder chosen from folder options.

i hav d same problem, after removing a virus, the attributes of most folder became "hidden" and "protected system file". i cant view my folders if the ticks in folder options is enabled (show hidden files, and show protected operating system file)

Here's what you do for folders with unchangeable hidden attributes: Open a command prompt and browse to the root folder of your removable drive. Then for each folder, type the following: (attrib -s -h <name of folder>) and press enter. What it does is reset the hidden and system attributes of the folder.

You need to uncheck hidden folder and just bello 2 more option there you need to un check them also.....
