I'm trying to send a file to a friend and his firewall won't accept .zip or .exe files, so I'm trying to change the extension. I can't figure it out. Any advice? I appreciate your time.

Hi,
It's really like other versions of windows, you should go to the file options and there you should uncheck the "hide extensions for known file types" field so you can see the file extensions. Now you can change them.
Good Luck
