Where it says firt bott device, second boot device and third.....(I think it's in advanced) just change the first Boot Device to floppy and exit out of setup. Put disk 1 into the floppy drive and reboot with the disk in, it will then prompt you to insert disk 2 and 3 and so on.

hope this helps.

Hmmmm
If you got a boot disk just put disk1 into driver and reboot and it will tell you what to do:)

If you computer's boot sequence starts with CD then you DO NOT need boot disk!
Just put Win XP CD into your CD driver and boot!

That will work as long as you leave the XP CD OUT of the drive, and as long as your boot sequence doesn't begin with your HDD!

Geee Mattc
As far as I know there are no typical computer that starts boot sequence begin with HDD! I think she is beginner and it is bad idea to touch BIOS for the beginner and she is just trying to install Win XP.
If her computer is typical computer then just put in Boot Disk 1 and reboot will do it!
Well, anyways, Mattc, you answered what ms lady asked for.

No Offence, but I'm a fully certified A+ and MSCA Technician and there's isn't any damage that can be done by changing the boot sequence. I know a LOT of people that have their HDD as first boot to load the faster and I wasn't sure if maybe Lady MS did? a lot of people do.
