How to burn DVD's on Nero 7?

Hi i jus bought Nero 7 the other day and i installed it, i have a dvd + and - writer and i was wondering how i burn dvd's on nero? some kind of decoder of some sort?

well you would put your files onto the left colme and when you are ready click the cd with a mach over it
