How to boot a xp disk without cd boot???

i have a winxp 2600 version windows xp cd.. but it doesn't boot at dos.. I don't know how to boot it in dos.. and i don't want to reburn it again, please if u know how to make a bookdisk(floppy kind) please help.. thax..

If you can use CD-ROM in DOS you don`t need boot disk .Load DOS type "D: " (name of your CD-ROM may be different letters )insert disk with you XP type " CD i386" press enter then type "winnt" this command will start intalation
You can create the XP bootdisks and start the installation process. Go to the bootdisk dir and type makebt32.

Hello, i have recently installed windowsxp, and when i reboot my system it tells me there is a "boot disk failure, isert sytem disk" sand when i insert the windows cd it boots into the install programme and i have to repair for the comp to load. is this the same problem you are having?
