Hey all,
I just upgraded from Windows XP SP1 (32-bit) to Win XP 64-bit with SP2 (and NET 1.1). In the 32-bit OS, I created one user name, w/ admin privileges to auto login, bypassing the password screen. In XP x64, whenever I boot up, it automatically logs me on as the Admin. Problem is, I don't wish to log in as admin every time I boot up and would rather auto login as the user I created. So, how can I automatically bootup and login as USER, instead of admin - just like in SP1?

Yeah, actually I google'd and searched here beforehand. Only relevant info that popped up was how to log in as ADMIN, not USER. Thanks for the link, it worked.

Creating a search argument is kind of an art form. It takes a lot of trial and error, and experimentation to learn ways to revise unsuccessful arguments and achieve success.

i just use control userpasswords2.
i have a bios password, so i just bash that in, and then the computer logs me into my desktop automatically. saves me typing in my colossal password.

You "bash" in your password? You'll probably go through quite a few keyboards if you keep that up...
