Background: I am self-employed and use a DOS program (Organizer Plus ver2.03) to test bearings and machines for vibration. The program is no longer supported by the manufacturer(SPM Instrument-Sweden). The issue is: I have 5 guys with laptops and data-loggers in 5 different location around the US at the same time. Each collects readings with the Data-logger and uploads to their own laptop.
The goal: To make a CD backup of each laptop's Data files and combine the test reading data to one central file where it can be redistributed to each laptop to keep everyone updated with all of the most current readings.
Trial and error: I have used ROBOCOPY.exe found in the Windows Resource Kit Tools. It has a 36 page manual but does not instruct on this kind of operation. I can get ROBOCOPY to overwrite but not to append.
Question #1: Am I using the right program? If not, what should I use?
Question #2: What should the cmd line read in order to acheive this goal?
Example of goal: Folder #1 on Laptop A has Data from one job, while folder #1 on Laptop B has Data from a different job. How do I combine the Data from both to become a new Data file reflecting both old files' readings, without overwriting each other?
Thanks

type copy /? and read this:
To append files, specify a single file for destination, but multiple files
for source (using wildcards or file1+file2+file3 format).
