how to add wordpad icon to desktop

I want an a Wordpad icon to appear on my desktop when the computer boots How to do this simply

go to accessories and find wordpad. Left click on it and drag it to your desktop...VOILA, there it is.

Just a small hint, www.google.com is real easy to use and would give you that answer in one click. Alot of my PC problems are solved real quickly that way ;-)

Right click the task bar > Tool bars > select 'Quick Launch' if it isn't already selected.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > drag and drop 'Word Pad' to the quick Launch tray next to the Start button.

Find Wordpad in Start / All Programs / Accessories, rightclick Wordpad, choose Send To, choose Desktop (create Link).
