How much to partition for Image

I have a 120 HD and want to partition for a backup Image using Drive Image, I also have Part Magic, what should I partition it to ? 1/2 or less, I will never use all this hard drive.

Well, if you always use the max compression it will compress an image at a rate of 50%. If you only plan on creating a backup image(s) for your Win XP partition and your Windows partition consists of 10 GB of data, then a back up partition of 30 GB would be able to hold about of six backup images. If you only plan to have one or two images at any given time you could create a smaller partition, say 15 GB.
