How do you copy/paste files from the desktop to this message? I am trying to ask a question and it would be so much easie if I could copy/paste from my desktop the files I am referring to and peoplpe could see what I am talking about. But I cannot figure out how to do it. I can make them copy/ paste to Notepad or Word and such but not to this question sheet.

So how do I do it? Any help would be appreciated.

It all depends on the files and exactly what you mean by copying a "file". You can't paste a picture for example, nor a program.

Any "text" you have copied into NotePad can be highlighted then copy / pasted onto this forum.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Dick R., try something. On mine, I can't C/P an item DIRECTLY from my desktop into a document, but I CAN C/P from a saved document with the same text. Dunno just why, but...
C/P the text into a document and save it somewhere convenient. Then access that document and repeat the select/copy process and you should then be able to C/P it anywhere if yours is like mine. Yesterday it worked, today it doesn't. Windows is like that (shrug).
