Hello gambit,

1. To turn off "Auto Update".
Right click on
"My computer" icon on your desk top and choose "Properties". Then click the tab that reads "Automatic Updates". Click the appropriate box.

2. To Turn Off "Error Reporting".
Right click on "My Computer" on your desktop and choose "Properties". Then click the tab that reads "Advanced". On that tab at the bottom is a button labeld "Error Reporting" Click it and choose your setting.

I am not sure what you mean by your 3rd request. Do you mean Qres ?

Robert

I think he means the Display icon in the
system tray. Iknow it's a check-box in
98SE, but I'm on a Mac at work right now
so I can't check in XP.

So basically, I'm no help, just wasting
space... lol
