CPU/Ram: amd xp 2400 256 ddr

right i just built a new comp and installed winxp pro.my old comp in running winme.i would like to set up ics using winxp as the server and minme as the client but i cant seem to get it working in winme.i have a 100mb lan cable linking the 2 comps.can anyone help me and maybe direct me to a url thats explains how this is done?????

Firstly you need a crossover RJ45 cable to connect, unlees you are using hub/switch.

ICS is explained in HELP which is on the XP START MENU, but you could just go to START > MY NETWORK PLACES > SETUP A HOME OR SMALL OFFICE NETWORK and run the Wizard at the end you will be offered the option of making a floppy disk which you run on the ME PC.

thanks m8 but i tried that and and whenever i reboot the winme system it hasnt installed the internet connection sharing im at a loss on wat to do now.
