You don't need to use FTP if you don't want to. ICQ has a file sharing function that's very easy to use. When you install it you'll have a folder on your desktop called "ICQ Shared Files." You need to set up the permissions on it. Go to Main, select Switch to Advanced Mode, Shared Files, Activate Service. Then go again to Main, Security and Privacy Permissions, and in Shared Files click the radio button for "Only Users on My Contact List." Now anyone on your contact list should be able to access any files contained in this folder. Not certain exactly how it works from there because I've never actually used it. I use FTP but it's more complicated and you need webspace.

hey, I use BADBLUE.COM. Its a very small programme to DL which has no limits and is very secure. If i had to i would recommend badblue.
Summary: I'm trying to set up an FTP server on my computer, but can't seem to find any detailed instructions on how to do so. If anyone knows a link that will show me how to do it, please post it here. Thank...
