how do i send an email with attachment showin

Specs: Windows XP
I am trying to send a newsletter out as either PDF or word, but 'i want it to show in the body of the email rather that an attachment. I am using Outlook - what do I need to do?

I think you'll find that you cannot use either Word or pdf files in the body of an email because they both require external programs to display them. The way I would do it is to convert the pdf to a picture - there are numerous tools around that will do the job & then insert that into the email. Also, of course, the recipient won't see anything if they haven't got their client to display anything other than text, so you may have to also add a link to display it on-line as well.

mumalou, I do sorta the same thing using OE to create a combo of text and pix with no problems. Mine doesn't require the recipient to do anything special. Maybe you need to switch?
