Whenever I connect to my computer through Remote Desktop, 5 seconds later, it says:
Because of an error in data encryption, this session will end. Then it does this for no reason.
First of all, I don't need encryption because this is local network and not a public connection. How do I disable encryption?
I tried this, but still no solution:

What else should I do?

That article refers to Server. Did you Google?

Life's more painless for the brainless.

Yes, but still no solution. This has to do with my Windows XP Professional client, NOT my server. Is it because of my network card? Mine is an Attansic built onto my ASUS P5B-E Motherboard. It was working for the past 1 and a half years and now its having a ton of issues, like not letting me copy MP3 files to my server, even though I am logged in as a domain administrator.
Should I use an alternate PCI Ethernet Card?

Port issue I'd guess. Your lan is bugged or buggy.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10

Your problem lacks an error. Can you find it and post it?
You cannot disable encryption unless you know what is doing the encryption and why. Just because you don't think you need it doesn't mean MS hasn't some process requiring it, hence the need for the actual error.
Review your event viewer for details.
