how do i reboot my computer

Specs: Windows XP
I HAVE A EMACHINE COMPUTER THAT I HAD A NEW HARD DRIVE PUT IN AND NOW AFTER I AM ON IT FOR AWHILE IT WILL JUST RESTART COMPLETELY. I WAS TOLD I NEED TO REBOOT IT. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTION ON HOW TO DO THIS BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF DISK FOR THIS?

I think you mean you've been told you need to reinstall it - 'reboot' just means to restart it - no disks required. Who installed the new harddrive? If they reinstalled the software but didn't do it properly then ask them to do it again. Also, please turn off capitals - it's like shouting & will only get you ignored.

Turn off Automatic Restart:

1.) Go into the Control Panel & open System.

2.) In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.

3.) Locate the Startup & Recovery area & click on the Settings button.

4.) In the Startup & Recovery window, locate & uncheck the check box next to Automatically restart.

5.) Click OK in the Startup & Recovery window.

6.) Click OK in the System Properties window.
