Do you have your sound serttings turned all the way up in the contrl panel , then of course double click the speaker icon on the lower lefthand side of your taskbar , sometimes you have to expand the chevron arrow to access the speaker icon ! Open the speaker icon and make sure the volume slider is all the way up ! Then click on the speaker volume make sure your speakers are set to highest setting allowed under volume control ,the default setting is half way towards high. After doing these task this does not give you the desired volume ,it could just be your system does not have the ability or quality you want in sound . It may be you have a low grade intergrated sound ,which you can fix by installing a good PCI sound card ,they are affordable and usally come with software that gives you much more options then Windows sound !
Good Luck ,Nick

Plug the sound card into a 100 watt stereo amplifier. That should do it.

Other than that you are stuck with whatever your sound card provides. Just make sure you have the volume controls turned up.
