Hello Kathy,
you can download from Microsoft Website the "TweakUI for Windows XP"...or type it in google somwehere (UI stands for User Interface) which allows you to do some cool things..
it also has a setting that lets you choose if you want to display the administrator account on your login screen.
from default tho, you are also set as an administrator and you can do almost everything an administrator does!
