how do i know using usb1.0 or 2.0

Open the Control Panel/ System/ Hardware/ Device Manager= Click. Now scroll to the bottom of the list and look for Universal Serial Bus Controller, and click the + to the left of the title. Your USB Controller should be listed as the second or third item in that list. Tomorrow the Stars!

In Device Manager if it is USB2 then it will contain the word "Enhanced". Bryan
