Hi, I was wondering how I install another OS on my new hard drive that I installed. I have a 12GB hard drive partitioned into a C and D drive and a new 40GB hard drive that is named G drive. I have XP on my 12GB hard drive and am planning on installing Windows 2000 Professional on the new hard drive. I shouldn't get any compatibility problems right if I installed new drivers when I installed XP?

the rule is all older OS must install first before install XP. if you plan to run more than 1 OS known as Dual-Boot. you can run all such as 98-2k and XP in 1 PC if you wish, but first you must install 98 and 2k then XP remember you also need to split your 2 HD into 3 part like C-D & E for example

You can download an NTFS dos boot util it fits on 4 disks boot up into this then install w2k using winnt32 as normal this will create a multi boot and will not interfere with your XP, dont forget to install the files in a different dir eg winnt or winnt_pro etc
