How do i get rid of WGATRAY.EXE?

this file is part of the ridiculkous windows genuine advantage program ... to disable it get this:

http://www.firewallleaktester.com/removewga.htm

and if it proves overly stubborn, brute force is the answer :-)

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/moveonboot.html

if you choose XPY, read all options carefully! when using moveonboot choose the 'rename' option.

another word of warning: disabling WGA will disallow you to get automatic updates, however, you may download all critical updates from www.softwarepatch and install them manually.
