How do I get rid of user screen?

you mean when starting up?
I think you have to change your user account in the configuration panel so it doesn't have a password.

I don't have a password setup for it. I did see a asp.net user I have no idea where that came from, and it's not listed when I bootup.

if u r the only user (delete the asp.net account and) disable the service 'fast user switching' and your logon screen is history

(contol panel, admin. tools, services)

That user came from a .net windows update and is one of the reasons why everyone should read about the updates before they install them and don't install the ones you don't need. I don't remember which number update it is. Did deleting the account work for you?
