Hi,
To get rid of spyware for ever and ensure you never get any.
Unplug any possible connection to the internet
Back up your system and data, then FDISK & Format from your O/S CD and then re-install your O/S and data. Product activation would have to be done over the phone.
Seriously though.
Download and install Ad-Aware, Spybot and Spyblaster, easily found on the net with simple searches.
Update each of them and delete everything each program finds.
Even with all of these programs I still get some spyware. It is unlikely you will ever stop all of it. You just need to ensure you have enough protection to remove as much as possible, as easily as possible. The three programs detailed will help as much as possible.
Please don't use FDISK and FORMAT and disconnect your system. It is the only guaranteed way to ensure you don't get any spyware.
With good software to remove Spyware you can prevent and remove as much as possible.
