Place your WinXP disc in your CDROM....reboot....you will be able to work yourself right thru the whole process just by following the instructions. Of course you will have to set your bios to boot from your CDROM and not your floppy if you haven't done so already.

Hi Victor,
Try this.
Using Delpart with Win 98 Boot Disk
To delete a NTFS Partition.Download delpart.exe to delete the ntfs partition. Then you can use your 9x boot disk to fdisk/format the drive and install whatever you want.
A little more info about the delpart application:Delpart allows you to remove an ntfs partition. Removing the NTFS partition erases everything from the drive. Your data, settings, drivers and software will be deleted, erased, destroyed and will need to be reinstalled. Back it all up.
Download and Copy delpart.exe to your windows 98 boot disk.
Restart the computer leaving the boot disk inserted. At the A:prompt run "delpart.exe".
Follow on screen instructions to Delete the ntfs partition.
Use the Alt key to access the file menu from delparts GUI.Choose save. Then Choose Exit. You will return to the A:prompt.
Your NTFS partition is gone now you can use FDISK/FORMAT
tools to get the drive ready for windows 9X.
Delpart's GUI is easy to navigate. It takes the guess work out of removing an NTFS partition.
