How do I fix a missing .dll file?

March 28, 2011 at 14:34:15
Specs: Windows XP
Each time I start up my computer (XP) I get a RUNDLL error message saying iseloruzifulo.dll could not be found. How do I fix this? It seems to be associated with my ability to view jpg files on certain windows apps. Thanks for your help in advance....KRN

Never heard of that file, neither has google.

It could be a virus or trojan that you have (or once had, leaving a registry entry behind).

For starters run your AV Scans. Next download, install and update and run MalwareBytes freebie as it sometimes finds what AV's miss.

If that doesn't help, type msconfig in the Run box. Look in the startup tab and if you can see the file mentioned untick it. If not install CCleaner and run that. I have some misgivings about registry cleaners but in this case it might be necessary to run one. The registry cleaner option in CCleaner is probably one of the safest.

Please come back and let us know how you got on.

Hi Derek,
Many thanks! I had already run the scans and registry cleaner. I took your advice concerning the startup menu, and unticked the little bugger! Your help is greatly appreciated. K

Good news - thx for the update.

Unless it bothers you then it does no harm to just leave it disabled.
There are ways to completely remove it you want to go to that trouble.

I think I'm good with the current fix...Out of sight, out of mind, so to speak. Again, many thanks for the help! K
