Depends how you did it. If you did an upgrade, you can uninstall XP (as long as you didn't delete the old system). If you formatted and started from scratch and have it set to NTFS, you need to reformat to FAT32 and start over. If it is FAT32 and you started from scratch, reformat and start over.

BTW if you would like to still try working with XP, you can make a dual boot system 1 98SE and one Xp. If interested, repost how to do it and someone on this forum would be more than happy to help. I don't know how to do it personally.

you just install as usual and put the new os into a different partition. then when installed and you boot up it gives you the option to pick an os

Maybe it would help if you didn't fight the problem, and told us why you hate XP, and what problems you're having. It's really a very good OS and you have to learn to work with it.

I agree with salgolf.
People are creatures of habit and we do not accept change well. However, give yourself time to get accustom to WindowsXP. In the end you will be glad you did.
