"Checking file system on C:" "Type of file system FAT32" Need to turn off this system check startup (does this each time computer is rebooted and turned on). It's time-consuming and unnecessary. How do I disable this function?

Thank you, AdamT. I didn't have to do as you instructed. All I did was reboot my computer, hold down the shift key before the screen went black (blank) and waited till the computer came back up into it's normal state. Presto! "Checking file system on C:" "Type of file system FAT32" did not show up again!!
