Once I upgrade to windows XP, it fails to detect my internal modem. How can i find the driver online without knowing the brand of my modem? Can i download a generic driver? Is there a way to check out its brand if the modem is on the motherboard?

Hello,
At Bootdisk.com, they used to have a link with FCC. Your modem has a FCC number on it and you could find the manufacturer via this number.
I could not find this link.
Try this link for modem help at same website.
