How do I deny access to folders?

Does anyone know how I can deny others access to folders. When logged in as administrator I right clicked top level folders selected ‘Sharing & Security’ and found the ‘Make This Folder Private’ box was greyed out.

Am using FAT32, from what I have read am I right it has to be NTFS?

Yes. For files and folders permissions to work you have to use NTFS. you can convert your partitions fromk fat32 to NTFS on the fly without loosing data. Well, better make a backup anyway before converting ;-)
