hi
Select Start --> Run
CMD and press enter
You will have black command windowchange the drive to you flash drive ie f: or g: etc
attrib -r -h -s *.*
del autorun.inf
and then create manually the folder with this name
so next time you wont have autorun.inf file instead it has
already the same name folder...
then
exit press enterThanks

i tried that it says its being used thats the problem!!!
if this was a matter of a simple delete i would not be here

Does task manager work if started following a fresh boot and the flash drive has not been connected yet?
The autorun.inf file could be from a virus infection. I have seen similar problems in the service shop before.
If the system works without the flash drive, before connecting it install an AV program and try Malwarebytes to check the system. Any file that can not be deleted sounds suspicious.

Hello
One of the best way is to
open the taskmanager
go to process...
select explorer.exe
end task [ this will clear your desktop for time being]
now from taskmanager select file NEW TASK
CMD
you will will get black windowtype cd\
c:\>rd autorun.inf
c:\>rd recycler /sselect the drive in which you are facing the problem
now exit from c prompt
again selec new task from taskmanager
and type explorer.exeYOU ARE BACK to your desktop icons and all the opened
file which you were not able to delete can be deletedIn short when explorer is present in memory you cannot
delete the files which are being used by OSEnjoy
Thanks
