When I open windows explorer in XP, it automatically opens with my Documents folder exploded....How do I get it to not do this, or to instead open Explorer with My Computer exploded instead? (on the left side of split screen)...
thanks, bash!

Assuming you have Win. XP on your C Drive.

copy and paste this into a desktop shortcut

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.exe /n,/e,C:\

and if you want it to open to a particulal folder, type the folder name after the C:\
