Hello every1!! :D
OK, I didn't know where to post this so I posted it here...my question is, how do I change my name in this forum? I've been using this name for about 1 year now, and now I discovered that it means something bad in Spain Spanish... XD
I'd like to change it...how do I do that?? I wouldn't like to lose all of my posts... :(
Thanx!! ;)

I did this a while ago.
You can not keep your My Computing.net posts as they are today.
By registering a new name you get a clean My Computing.net page.

You can keep those you have right there and just log into that user profile and they will still be there. That is not so convenient though.

You may want to use the "database-ready dump" found on the My Computing.net page at the line "Click here for a database-ready dump of your My Computing.Net list."

Save the list on your hard drive.

Then, if you have Excel and ASAP Utilities then you can import the saved text file and use the ASAP function to convert the URLs into hyperlinks. Save the .xls spreadsheet as a .html file.
Then save a shortcut to .html document in your Favorites folder.

I am sure there are other, less wordy, ways.

Regards,
Bryan

It means "The Trout" (I'd always thought)?

Just re-register, there's no accumulation of privilege or brownie points here (for better or worse)

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Well...I don't have Excel or that ASAP thing...so I'll just save the database-ready dump thing and then I'll add the messages with their numbers on the new one...thanx!! ;)

Oh, and jboy...yes, it means Trout, but in the Spain dialect's slang, it means something else... XD
