Specs: Windows XP
The messages in my EMail inbox are not sequenced in order of time received. Also, when I delete messages they come right back--how do I completely delete the messages in my "in folder"?

I assume you are using Outlook.

When you open Outlook, you generally see from left to right, sender, subject, size, and date and time. The columns may be rearranged in different order depending on your configuration.

To sort by date time, click the header on top of the date and time column. Clicking it once should sort by newest to oldest, and clicking it again should sort by oldest to newest. The default setting should be newest to oldest.

Regarding deletion, there should be a "deleted items" folder that you can empty.
