How can we disable windows log key

If you are referring to being able to just bypass the user log-in page then you must only have one user enabled. If there are two or more then you must have the log in to pick the user that is booting up!
You can disable the guest log-on and also the ASPnet as well or remove it completely. You cannot remove the guest account..just disable it. Then when boot the system will start to your desktop.
Control panel >users accounts and change each user account from the admin capable account!

Also, If you have Net Framework 1.1 in Add/Remove Programs, then you have to Update it here --- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827... The Welcome to Windows screen appears when you start Windows XP after you install the .NET Framework 1.1
