How can i update the Mcafee DAT file through using Novell Login script on XP.we have win98 and XP workstation. for win98 no problem on update it's running through the novell login script. For the XP i create one group called XP and add the user account to the group and login to the server. it's running the script and mapping all the drive, also it's copying the dat4272.ok file but it's not updating the DAT file. i don't know where i missed any help??? Do your users have permission to run that program. Try going out and having a user manually execute the DAT file and see if it runs. You didn't say much about the security and user account levels so I'd look there first. Otherwise try copying it over and renaming it to a .exe file instead of .OK and see what happens. I'm betting it's either permissions or syntax problems...
