Just double-click on the file in Windows Explorer and the contents of the file will be displayed. You can then copy and paste or unzip to a folder as required.

The only time this wont work is if you have previously installed something like WinZip and then Uninstalled it. the .zip extension will still be associated with the non existent Win Zip and you will need to re associate it with Windows.
