You have to use the "Burn image" option in your burner software to burn an ISO to make it useable as a conventional CD.

Simply burning the file to a CD will not work.

As above.

The iso is a special way to save the contents of a CD. You need to use an application that understands how to use that iso file to recreate a copy of the original disk.

There are a few good free applications that understand how to convert an iso file to a disk. Most people use one of a few commercial programs.

You can also view and edit and copy from with other applications.

Microsoft has a virtualcd manager that may help.
You can also run it from a virtual machine if it is a copy of an OS.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
