How can I monitor test software for work

January 4, 2011 at 13:05:11
Specs: Windows XP
My boss gave me some busy work, test a piece of software we may be using in our offices. The software appears to be using some of the same resources as MAX (I hate MAX enough already). I was looking for a program (preferably freeware) that would monitor CPU, HD access, Resources the program is using, Ports communicating, Etc.

You have it already installed.

Performance monitor. Start it on a remote system to log data.

If you need more then you have to write code into the software that would report to MMC or event viewer.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
