How can I edit GIF files??

Is there any software by which I can edit GIF files inclluding the animation?

You need some Software which will allow you to 'play' with Animations eg PaintShop Pro or PhotoShop Elements

There is a Free Image viwer\editor - Irfanview - but I don't know if that will allow the editing of animated gifs

Paint Shop Pro would be a good choice, it has an extra program called Animation Shop, where you can edit animated gifs

Jasc do not bundle Animation Shop with Paint Shop Pro anymore. It is a seperate piece of software. I recommend you download the trial version because it is a really great animated GIF editor.
