How can i dual boot XP with Linux?

I have installed XP dual boot with RedHat 7.1 and 7.2 and all works fine. Don't know about Suse. I just install Linux as normal and let Lilo/Grub install onto the Master Boot Record (MBR). Reboot and all is fine.

I am trying Mandrake 8 and XP and whenever i install the linux, it copys over the MBR for XP, and when i try to change it back i get blue screen of death. what am i doing wrong
