How do I block access to Internet Explorer and access to the Internet for specific users? I have a couple of kids I don't want surfing the Internet on my DSL while I'm away from home.

None of the 'For Dummies' books that I've come across explain this and none of the books at Staples or Office Depot address it either, I've looked through them all.

Thanks!

only way i can think for blobking ie is to use a firewall and dont give it access rights, (but it can be bypassed by simply shutting the firewall down). if you dont want the computer to have any internet access at all dont block ie, instead disable your adsl modem in hardware manager. and enable it again when you get back.
all depends on how capable your kids are with pc's as to wether they could get round them.
other than that. take the modem with you or hide it.

I use Cybersitter. It is filtering software, but I use it for the "No Internet Access" feature.....and it works with XP.
Hopes this helps
